Description

The Lynch Foundation provides assistance to programs primarily in Massachusetts with an emphasis on education; culture and historic preservation; healthcare and medical research; and religious and educational efforts of the Roman Catholic Church.

The Lynch Foundation is a charitable trust managed by an Executive Director in conjunction with its volunteer Board of Trustees, President and Founders. The Foundation is deeply committed to Our Mission and representative supported organizations. The relationship between The Lynch Foundation and its grant recipients extends far beyond one of financial assistance. It is a partnership. We have structured our application process to allow a deep understanding of each potential grantee's mission, goals, and needs.

The Lynch Foundation has an open process which allows any not-for-profit organization fitting our mission statement to submit a three-page concept paper. The concept paper should contain an overview of the organization, relevant program information, and why and how a grant from the Foundation could be of assistance. These papers will be reviewed by the Foundation’s staff, and the organizations will be notified once a decision is made to invite a grant application or decline the concept.

Inquiry Deadlines
Concept papers may be submitted at any time.

Invited Proposals
The Lynch Foundation grant application is comprised of a three-page summary form. The proposal should be written concisely; the narrative section should not exceed the recommended format. All supporting materials must be included to be considered for funding. Information should be up-to-date and not redundant.

Faxed or E-mailed proposals will not be accepted.
