Project-Based and Experiential Learning in After-School Programming

This paper we explores the potential role of project-based and experiential learning in after-school programming. The authors describe what project-based learning might look like and why it is a desirable approach in after-school programming. They review effective practices and challenges of incorporating these learning strategies successfully into the after-school hours, and make recommendations for next steps.
