Partnership Council

The members of the Partnership Council recognize that learning takes place on a continuum, from birth through college completion, of classroom and out-of-school contexts that engage a variety of skills and responses from young people.  The Partnership Council is committed to establishing and strengthening a comprehensive learning system throughout Boston, through collaborative relationships between schools and afterschool providers.  Determined to strengthen learning opportunities that allow students to achieve, connect and thrive, the Partnership Council places the afterschool sector at the heart of its vision of dynamic, integrated learning, attained through shared goals between schools and providers.  The Partnership Council sees structured collaboration in the educational community as the key to realizing the full potential of community learning for all young Bostonians.
