About the Analyst Fellowship
The Education Pioneers Analyst Fellowship is a 10-month, full-time, paid leadership development program. The program places talented early career professionals into mission-critical analytic roles in education. Placements include at school districts, charter school organizations and education nonprofits. Analyst Fellows leverage business skills and knowledge to analyze and manage strategic, data-based projects, as well as receive structured professional development and mentorship.

Required Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- A bachelor’s degree
- Two years of full-time professional work experience by August 2012 (excluding undergraduate summer work)
- A minimum of two years of experience in highly analytical roles
- A distinguished academic record
- Authorization to work in the United States (international students eligible only if visa assistance NOT required)
- A strong commitment to the 10-month program, including participation in all mandatory events and workshops
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of work experience as a consultant or analyst
- Experience in: finance, strategy, marketing or operations
- Strong commitment to Education Pioneers’ mission and core values of courage, optimism, collaboration and action
- Demonstrated personal commitment to improving K-12 education
- Exceptional problem solving, analytic and oral and written communication skills
- Effective project management skills, including attention to detail and demonstrated project outcomes
