On Wednesday, April 25, Boston City Councilor At-Large John Connolly, chair of the Council’s Education Committee, honored five Boston Public School Partner Organizations with resolutions recognizing their innovative work in Boston’s schools. These organizations are notable for their exceptional programs that bring environmental and music education, playtime and outdoor learning and tutoring programs to Boston Public Schools.
Mayor Thomas M. Menino announced today that the City of Boston has been recognized for three innovative programs by the Computerworld Honors Program “honoring those who use Technology to Benefit Society”. The Computerworld Honors Program, sponsored and run by Computerworld, an industry magazine, has selected 263 Laureates for 2011.
